5D Tropical is owned and operated by the Diaz family. Each family member being well-trained and educated in the fields they manage, with the fourth generation now joining the business. The original founders, Joe and Anita Diaz, govern the overall operation of the company, setting and obtaining future goals and challenging departments with their expectations; Jason Diaz, acts as the administrator of overall operations with an emphasis on domestic livestock management; Damon Diaz, is the supervisor of grading/counting and quality control as well as manager of imported livestock and Stacey Diaz, is the office manager, each work toward a common goal: to produce the best tropical fish available while providing personalized and professional service.

We work hard to assure our fish are of an appropriate size, coloration and health. Imported fish are quarantined for seven days to assure they are free from parasites and disease. Quality control procedures consist of five checkpoints before any of our fish are packaged for shipping. Any fish we list on our availability list must meet or exceed our high standards.
The selection at 5D Tropical is beyond what most would expect from a tropical fish supplier. Our indoor facilities contain a total of 800,000 gallons of water and our farm has nearly 1,200 ponds with an additional capacity of 3,125,000 gallons. We import weekly shipments from South America, The Far East and Africa. This means a greater selection in stock and a constant supply of tropical fish.
