XL Spotted Royal Plecos are in from the newest Colombia shipment. Only got 5 pieces so act quickly.
Mono Sebae are in for quite possibly the first time. Either way it's been ages since I've seen them available from any source.
    Hey folks,
great news this week! We got in not one but two shipments from Colombia. We loaded up on as much of the common staples as we good along with a couple of real gems. Hoping there's enough to go around but because it's been a couple of weeks since the last shipment arrived demand is going to be through the roof. We got in most of the usual suspects including Clown, Rubber & Royal Plecos. Restocked on Striped and Spotted Raphaels as well as Colombian Sharks. Got in both Blue & Green Phantoms. And we even managed to pick up a few more Red Pikes. So there should be a little bit of something for everyone.

In addition to Colombia we got a ton of new fish in from the far east with some really exciting additions. The one that I think most people are going to go crazy for are actually the smallest-Thai Micro Crabs! People have been asking for these for as long as I've been here and I'm sure much longer before that. I've tried ordering these for several months but finally got filled for the first time. These are exactly as the name suggests, micro. But the demand on these is ridiculous, especially for nano enthusiasts. I don't expect these will be here for more than a few days so don't sleep on these. If you post on social media that you have these people will come out of the woodwork to get some.

So much new stuff I can't list it all here so be sure to check out the pics below. One of the things I definitely want to mention here are the Black Tiger Badis. These are absolutely awesome. Keep in mind like all Badis species they are a true nano fish so they stay very, very small. But these look incredible even at such a diminutive size. My other favorite to come in are the Mono Sebae. Not sure when the last time these came through here as I couldn't even find a pic in the archives. So like most of the pics the on e here in the email is from this actual group. This is a true brackish species that does require a fair amount of salt in order to thrive. However once settled in they hold up very well. These are already looking very silver and black as they should. Perfect for any Raiders fans lol.

We've been going heavy on Discus the last few weeks and like I mentioned last week the results have not been disappointing. Got in more variety than I think we ever have before. Lots to choose from but the best bang for the buck are the 2.5-3" Assorted Singapore Discus. Lot of great variety in the mix and definitely worth the extra money. You'll see that in the pics below. These acutally outsell the the smaller sizes. If you haven't brought these in before I highly recommend trying a few. Seriously doubt you'll be disappointed.

Red Pikes are back. this batch is slightly smaller than the last but color is super saturated. Look like underwater fire engines.
More medium Silver Arowanas on this week's Colombia shipment. All are about this size and look very healthy .
Pinktail Chalceus are back in and oversize. Great addition to any aquarium with large, semi-aggressive cichlids.
Can't remember the last time Melanistus Cories were in stock. Size is great on these.
We're hoping we got in enough Otocicnlus to go around but somehow I doubt it so get your orders in early if want a shot at some.
Not quite as impressive as it's bigger cousin up above but still nice to have small Royals back in stock.
    Asia Imports
Black Tiger Badis look amazing. Please note that this is highly magnified. Like all Badis species they are a nano fish and stay very small, about an inch and these are nowhere near full grown. However even at this tiny size some of the males are already starting to display their colors and markings.
Galaxy Rasboras are back in stock this week and came in at a very good size. You can actually see their pattern without having to squint lol.
Samurai Gouramis have been here about a week now and have really settled in nicely. Perfect size as they tend to acclimate better when they're on the smaller side and these have really taken to our hard water conditions here so you'll have no problem getting them to adjust to your source water.
Bumble Bee Gobies continue to come in fairly consistently. While most species are technically brackish they don't require a ton of salt as long as the water is fairly hard. They do often require live foods at first but I've had success getting them to take frozen Daphnia and Sera micro pellets.
The ever popular Pea Puffers are back in stock. Only reason I feature them in the email is so that everyone can see that we have them available. These adorable little guys sell themselves.
Balloon Jewels are back for the first time in a bit. I will say I initially would have thought the "ballooning" of the body would slow these guys down a bit like it does most other balloon types. However it doesn't seem to affect them as they are just as aggressive as they normal counter parts. So give them plenty of space so they don't tear each other apart.
Medium/large Spiney Eels are in for what I believe is the first time. At least the first time since I've been here. Size is a little mixy but they're all big enough to display their really neat mottled pattern.
Delhezi Bichirs are back but in fairly limited numbers. Out of all the Polypterus species these are probably the best value out there. Really nice patterned fish for not a lot of money.
    Livebearers
Japanese Blue Bottom Swordtail Guppy. This Endler's hybrid type has quite possibly the world's longest name for such a small fish.

Mixed Sex Rosy barbs are back in this week and they look fantastic. Very nice size and great color with a 50/50 male to female ratio.
New batch of Platinum Green Tiger Barbs came in even more platinumy than usual. Very metallic appearance on these.
This week's restock on Longfin Tiger Barbs came in considerably bigger than the last batch. If you've never had these before you should try some they're far less nippy than normal Tiger Barbs due to the fact that their exaggerated tails slow them down immensely so they can't chase after other fish as easily.
Got in quite a few Sparkling Gouramis this week so should be plenty of these great little guys to go around. Perfect for nano tanks which are all the rage right now.
Red Paradise came in as imports this week. I prefer the name Flame Paradise to describe this morph as there is another strain called Red Paradise which actually a pattern very similar to the Blues but just with more red coloration.
Albino Paradise are running slightly bigger than usual with a handful of males displaying some very nice color.
Featherfin Rainbows seem to bet bigger and bigger each week with the males showing great color in their fins.
    Tetras
This week's batch of mixed sex Congo Tetras might be some of the nicest I've seen come through here. Size is better than average but it's the color that really makes them stand out. Very iridescent with a great metallic green sheen to them.
Panda Tetras are back in from Indo. Great black and white contrast on these with an even greater name.
Green Fires are back. These have been more consistently available lately than Bloodfins which they closely resemble. These are a good substitute for the time being.
Black Neon availability has been fairly consistent lately and the size is running better than average.
I've said this before but I'll say it again, I definitely prefer the old school Von Rios to the Orange. The red & black just creates such a rich contrast that the just stand out so much when mature.
Couldn't get a good enough pic to demonstrate  just how big the Penguins are currently. These have to be the biggest I've ever seen not just here but anywhere. Very impressive schooling species that would make for a terrific display.
Albino Glowlights are back in stock and at a pretty decent size. They of course look a little faded now but once these settle in they're actually nice than their natural color counterpart. They develop a red stripe down the middle as opposed to orange.
Longfin Serpaes have been running consistently bigger than the standards and have really good color with nice exaggerated fins at the moment.
Red Hooks have been here long enough for their fins to clean up and for their color to really start to come in. Most are this size or bigger. Really good value on these.
    Cichlids
Wild Oscars came in over a month ago but were undersize so we held on to them so we could pack them full of food. They have since nearly doubled in size and look fantastic. Very limited numbers on these so order early if you want some.
If you prefer your Oscars to be a little more gaudy in color as opposed to the wild types then look no further than the Chilis. This batch came in super bright and really good size.
Medium Escondido Carpintis might be the best looking Central/Southie on hand this week. Pic definitely doesn't do it justice as they tend to get very muddy the second they're taken out of the water. These are bright metallic turquoise. Don't always get these at this size so grab some while you can.
    Gold Ram
2" Red Pearl Flowerhorns are back from Indo. These a much brighter and a bit humpier at a small size compared to the ones that we typically get from Bangkok and there's very little of a price difference. These flew out of here in a hurry last night so jump on them quick.
Well it wouldn't be a weekly newsletter if we didn't include Electric Blue Acaras but this time it's the regulars instead of the mediums. They are running well oversize this week and are a really good value.
    Old World Cichlids
Turkana Jewels are back for the first time in ages. These just came in last night so they haven't had time to color up yet but once they do these are without a doubt one of the coolest variants of all Jewel Cichlid types. They develop an almost fluorescent tangerine color to them as they mature.
Quite possibly the most underrated of all Victorian Cichlids are the Rock Kribs. Both males and females sport bright gold coloration with black markings and the males develop red bellies.
Medium Albino Sunshine Peacocks sport a lot of bang for the buck. One of the nicer looking albino variants out there.
OB Electric Butterfly Peacocks are another one of kind variant that one of our local vendors produces. He specializes in unique peacock/hap crosses. Regardless of your thoughts on hybrids one cannot argue that the end result is a great looking, easy to sell fish.
Hi-Yellow OB Peacock. From the same producer as above. These look super metallic in the water. Like little bars of gold swimming around.
Regular size Borleyi Redfins are very mixy in size, but even the smallest ones look fantastic.  The biggest ones should be transforming in color any day now.
Regular size Borleyi Redfin OB's are fantastic.  It took a LONG time for the breeders to release mixed sex OB borleyi's, due to wanting to keep the strain exclusive to themselves, but now anyone can buy these and raise up a few breeding pairs.
I say this just about every week but if you're looking for a splash of color for not a lot of money then check out the medium mix male Peacocks. Lotta bang for the buck.
Still have a handful of the OB Red Empress on hand. This is probably the nicest and brightest of all the OB crosses.
    Dynamite Discus
    2.5"-3" Assorted-Blue Diamond
    2.5"-3" Assorted-Pigeon Blood
    2.5"-3" Assorted-Cobalt
    2.5"-3" Assorted Snakeskin
    2"-2.5" Pigeon Blood
    2"-2.5" Assorted-Cobalt
    Inverts
Thai Micro Crabs are the quintessential invert when it comes to nano tanks. Believe it or not these are some of the biggest I've ever seen. They really do deserve the name "micro".
    Yellow Fire Shrimp
    Red Crystal Shrimp
    Plecos & Pals
With the limited number of species coming out of Colombia right now fancy Plecos are pretty scarce at the moment. But we do still have a handful of really nice Snowballs still in stock. I would suggest grabbing them while you can.
Amongst the handful of gems we managed to get on our Colombia shipment were Green Phantom Plecos. These always hold up and sell very well.
Blue Phantoms also got a restock this week. Fairly small but showing nice color.
Colombian Sharks also got a restock this week. Unlike some items should have good numbers on these.
Zodiac Loaches are in for the first time in months. Look like a cylindrical Yo Yo loach almost.
