Nice Colombia, Indo Shipments with some staples back in stock

weeks like this make me feel like I should be paying them to write this. Hopefully they don't read this part lol. But it really has been a great week for incoming. Once again it's gonna be too much to list everything here so please be sure to check out all the pics and captions down below. And don't forget time is running out to get 20% off GloFish® Danios.
So much to choose from it's hard to pick where to begin from but guess I'll start with Colombia. Yet another great shipment from our supplier down there with quite few items we haven't had in ages. We'll start with the Pike Cichlids. Came in listed as two different species but since they're a little young to be certain and they look to be the same species we're listing them by size, small and medium. Both are super nice and arrived in excellent condition. One thing for sure is that neither one is the Belly-crawler type we typically see so this is a nice change of pace. One item that I'm super excited for are the Loxozonus Cories. These came in at the perfect size and so look great. These have a nice blend of dorsal striping accompanied by pebbling alongside the body. One of the neatest looking "affordable" Cories. In addition to those we got in an Ancistrus type of Pleco we've never had before, White Seam. There are a handful that share this name and does not have a designated L number so I'm glad we're able to provide a pic below so you can see what they currently look like. But the item I think most people will be excited for are the Assellus aka Amazon Puffers. These are probably the most sought after freshwater Puffer out there but unfortunately their availability never matches the demand. These a true freshwater species and do not require any salt.
Far East was no slouch on cool stuff this week either. As you probably saw in the title card we got in a fantastic batch of common Archers, however we also got in some Clouded Archers as well. These are a freshwater species and are far less common. While they cost a bit more people are willing to pay the extra money to not have to deal with mixing salt into the water. But for those who enjoy keeping brackish species of fish we also got in Mono Sebae. These are the less common relative of Mono that are frequently seen available. These are always sought after by brackish enthusiasts as there such a limited number of species that come in on a regular basis.
Got a restock on 8" Royal Clown Knives this week so if you missed out on the last ones you got another opportunity to try and grab one. Newsflash...they're awesome. We also got in the common Clown Knife but this time at a 4" size. Some of your customers may be a little more comfortable with ones with a bit more growth to them. But on the opposite end of the spectrum are the Scarlet Badis. Most of you are already familiar with these but for those of you who aren't this THE nano fish everyone is looking for. Color is outstanding for such a tiny little species. But the item I know everyone will be excited over are the Dwarf Pea Puffers. We tried to bring in as many of these as we could but they are still going to be very limited as these are insanely popular.
And as always I like to close out the email with some of the fantastic Florida raised fish that came in this week. Not necessarily anything new or groundbreaking but certainly some stunners here by their own right. I mention these just about every other week but with good reason, the medium Red Spot Gold Severums are one of the nicest Florida raised strains out there. 100% natural and 100% awesome. The next item might not be quite as bright, yet, but definitely awesome and definitely in demand are the Red Head Tapajos. Not much to look at as juveniles but as adults these are one of if not the most popular Geos going these days. But if you're looking for straight up in your face color then look no further than the medium mix Male Peacocks. Like everything else raised down here they're all natural with no added hormones so what you see is what you get with these.

| New Pike Cichlids from Colombia came in listed as "Satena" which is most likely the locality point from which they were collected. Look to be a Lugubria or similarly related type. |

| Also got in a medium Pike this week that looks to be Lenticulata-esque but too young to be certain. Either way they're a great size with nice freckling on the face. |

| Asellus aka Amazon puffers came in as absolute beasts. Without question the biggest I've ever seen. These can often be a bit shaky when they first arrive so they may not be available till next week but couldn't resist showing these off. |

| Loxozonus Cories are in for the first time in forever. These are one of my favorite less common cories. Looks like a Melini and a Melanistus got together and a baby. |

| Medium Black Ghost Knives continue to come in on the Colombia Shipments and they're about 20% bigger than the far east imports. And surprisingly these tend to hold up better as well. |

 |
| Brown Ghost Knives always take a back seat to their Black Ghost cousins which is a shame since not only are they attractive by their own right but unlike their cousins they can be kept in groups together. |

| Ran out of the XL Royals in a heartbeat as I expected but we did get plenty of smalls in this week and they arrived in great shape. Fins are in really good shape which is uncommon with fresh imports. |

| New White Seam Plecos have just a hint of white here and there in the fins but these do develop a neat subtle honeycomb pattern to them as the settle in. |

| Electric Blue Rams got a restock from the far east and the size is fantastic. Bordering on that of a medium yet still at the same price they usually are. Great value this week. |
|
 |
| Mono Sebaes are back and at the perfect size. If they come in too big they often take a while to acclimate but these have settled in just fine. When they first arrive they often look very dark. almost black but that typically only lasts a day or so. But like always they do best with a fair amount of salt on them. |
|
 |
| Clouded Archers also came in this week but unlike their cousins these guys are a true freshwater species and stay considerably smaller. Perfect for anyone wanting to dive into this amazing genus without having to deal with the brackish requirements. |
|
 |
| Dwarf Puffers are back and they look great. Excellent size and holding up really well so far. These are a seasonal item and we got a rather limited number on these so don't wait if want any. |

| Got in a new(ish) size on Clown Knives this week, 4". These are a bit beefier than the 3" |
|
 |
| 8" Royal Clown Knives got another restock since the last batch sold out almost immediately. These always seem to be nearly indestructible. |
|
 |
| Rainbow Gobies are back and about as big and nice as the last few batches. These are one of the more colorful freshwater species that tend hold up nearly every time we get them. Just wish they were a bit more photogenic as the pic really doesn't show how colorful they are. |
|
 |
| Marble Morays came in around the usual 10" size and looking just as nice as usual. These are a brackish water species and require salt to truly thrive. I've even seen them converted into full on marine environments. |
|
 |
| Scarlet Badis have been absent for a couple months but are back with a vengeance. Super bright group sporting lots of red coloration that's notable even at such a tiny size. |
|
 |
| Gardneri Killis are about the biggest I've ever seen come through here. Males are in full color and look like they fell out of an aquarium book. It is a mixed sex group so sell the males at a price or in pairs. Should be able to make excellent margin on these this week. |

| One day I'll get a decent pic of Turkana Jewels so everyone can see just how amazing they really are. more than half the tank is lit up like a Christmas tree but the second they see a camera they get shy lol. |

| Sewellia Hillstream Loaches really don't require any hyping. I just like to throw a pic in here because they are without a doubt the coolest looking sucker type Loach there is. And just in case any of your geek customers ask the species name is Lineolata. |

| Pearl Gouramis are currently running bigger than they have pretty much all year but doubt that will last so definitely time to stock up. |
|

| I feature these a lot and I'll continue to as long as their this awesome. But who can argue with photographic proof. These Reds were found in the large Rainbow mix and they all look this amazing. |

| Can't believe that so many of the Rainbows are still coming in so nice this late in the year. I've said this before and I'll say it again, Kamakas might be the most underrated species of Rainbow. |

| Neon Gold Rosy barbs keep coming in with super nice color. Great thing about this strain is that both males and females bright and attractive. |
|
 |
| 2" Bushynose got restocked over the weekend. Size varies a bit and some may not be quite 2" but they are still a good value and are MUCH bigger than the regular size which are barely 1". |

| Large Albino Bushynose are average in size but the color is outstanding. Sporting a lemony/tangerine color almost like a Lemon Blue Eye. |

| Black Neons have been a bit touch and go as far as availability goes but got in quite a few this week so hopefully there's enough to go around. |

| Not quite as big as the regular Serpaes but still super nice are the Longfin Serps. I've always said I can really appreciate exceptional examples of common stock items just as much as new/rare species. |

| Been about two weeks since the last time i featured them so here are the Black Phantoms once again just in case you forgot how awesome they've been. |
|
 |
| Feature these quite a bit as well due to the fact that they are one of the most popular nano Tetras and they won't break the bank with their price point. |
|

| With Halloween right around the corner might wanna consider marketing these as Floating Head or Severed Head Tetra as opposed to Balloon Red Eye lol. |

| Medium Firemouths are showing really nice color this week. Wish we could get them in at this size every week but that just doesn't seem to be the case so stock up while they're this nice. |

| Medium Red Spot Gold Severums get featured often because it's really difficult to find a better Florida raised beauty that can outshine these. And like always these aren't juiced so what you see is what you get. |

| Curviceps seem to have regained the popularity like it's the 1980s all over again. All they need now are some Egyptian Mouthbrooders to go along with them. |
|

| 2" Chocolates keep coming in and keep selling out so I guess that proves that there is a steady demand for super brown fish. |
|

| Speaking of always selling out Red Head Tapajos are back in stock but that never lasts long. If you're not familiar with these google a pic of the adults, They're amazing but I'm willing half your customers already know that since these sell on name alone. |

| Regula Jacks are back. Not much need for further detail since these have been a staple since the 1930s. |

| I would say same goes for the regular Green Terrors but I'm not sure on when they first started coming into the trade but I do know that they are must have when they're available. |

| Regular Managuense aka Jaguar Cichlids have been popping up here and there. They are running very small but that doesn't seem to matter as the last two batches sold out before I had a chance to put them in the email. |

| Down to just a handful of 4" Cubans. Now we still have some 2" and 3" but these of course are the closest to showing their amazing adult markings. |

| Medium mix male Peacocks seems to provide new gems each and every week. I'm calling this one Frosted Strawberry. I'm open to suggestions but anything Dragon Blood related has been done to death lol. |

| Also sprinkled in the medium male Peacock mix are a handful Haps. This is where calling them an "assortment" comes in handy so people can't get get too hung up on exact nomenclature. |

| Ndiwe Fire Haps are now available in a regular size as well as large. They're not much to look at initially but once they mature they are stunners |

| Got in more Rock Kribs this week and both the males and females are smokin. This a great, undervalued Lake Victorian. These should be more of a staple in the hobby than they are. Already showing great color and they're barely 2". |

| Pseudotropheus Deep Msobos are starting to become a regular stock item here and I hope that continues. These are one of the most attractive Mbuna types out there yet they haven't gotten the mainstay popularity they deserve. Google a pic of what they look like as adults and you'll see what I'm talking about. |
