Atabapo Red Pike (29398) came in absolutely huge. Only been here a handful of hours when this pic was taken. Some of the nicest I've seen come through here.
    Hey folks,

A surprisingly great week of incoming despite all the weather challenges we've had the last few weeks. For those of you that have held off from ordering due to shipping conditions now is the time to buy. Lotta great stuff came in this week both from overseas as well as from right here in Florida. Got in shipments from Indo, Thailand and Colombia. Some familiar faces along with some long forgotten favorites. Tons of pics below.

We'll start with Colombia, As you can see from the pic above we got in a handful of some amazing Red Pikes. These are super limited so let your rep know if you are interested. For items we have decent numbers on we got in one of my favorite Colombian imports, wild Oscars. They may sound odd considering it's such a common species but I'll take the wild variant over captive raised any day of the week. In addition to those we also got restocked on one of Joe's old favorites, Exodon Paradoxus. Very unique and always a good seller. And of course we got restocks on all the must haves including Silver Hatchets, Raphael Cats, Otos, Clown, Rubber and Royal Plecos. Plus a few other hidden gems you'll see down below.

Another great shipment from our Indo supplier this week. Wasn't able to get pics of everything considering it just arrived last night but got quite a few regardless. My personal favorite and absolute stand out are the Rainbow Shiners. These don't show color all year long but as of right now they are on fire. Pic below does not do them justice. They are a shimmering see of purple at the moment. Another one showing off are the Black Emperor Tetras. I've never been a huge fan of this variant as I've always felt the natural occuring counterpart was a better looking fish. I might have to change my opinion on that as this batch is outstanding. About as big as I've ever seen them come in. Would make for an awesome display in a planted tank. Also got in another batch of Panda Tetras. One of the less common species that always seem to move really well here. also got in quite a few shrimp as well as some other nice inverts.

Got in a nice small shipment from one of our suppliers in Thailand. The two biggest additions from here for me are the Freshwater Clouded Archers and the Red Pearl Flowerhorns. Both came in looking great and are sure to sell out in a hurry. We also got in two types of Betta that aren't necessarily new but but are new to us as far as I know. Gold Platinum Halfmoon and Nemo Koi Plakat. Both are very nice and unique in appearance. You'll have to Google pics of these as they just came in I didn't have time to take any myself. But I will say for such nice variants both came in at a very reasonable price point.

Hopefully the weather will continue to hold up for all us for the next couple of weeks because as we all know this is our busy season. Reach out to your rep if you have any questions.

    Colombia
I may be in the minority saying this but I definitely prefer Wild Oscars (29633) to their captive raised counterparts. Patterns are super crisp and this fish only gets better with age.
Red Pacu (2335) are back in from Colombia. As Joe used to say we'll stop bringing them in when people stop buying them.
Pike Cichlids (2948) are back in. This batch is comprised of mostly belly crawler types but they're cheap and always in demand.
Exodons (3273) came in pretty solid size this week. While they don't exactly play well with others they do make for an excellent species only display.
New batch of Gold Tetras (2906) came in solid and super bright.
Diptail Pencils (2941) may not be as flashy or brightly colored as some of the other Pencilfish but their unique appearance and unusual behavior of acting like a Headstander definitely set them apart.
L-128 Blue Phantom Plecos (29205) finally came in other than super tiny. Once they have a chance to setle in they start showing off their amazing color.
Brown ghost knives (2950) came in at a great size making them a fantastic value. Little bit more affordable than their cousins.
Medium Royal Plecos (3326) arrived in surprisingly good condition. Fins are usually pretty chewed up initially but this is a pretty clean group overall.
    Indo
Pic absolutely does not do these guys justice as these are some of the biggest Black Emperor Tetras (12021) I've ever seen come through here. Now granted they usually come in pretty tiny but this is about as nice as this fish gets. Super black with a nice purple hue.
Wouldn't be an Indo shipment without at least one balloon type fish and the Balloon Penguins (31043) are always a crowd pleaser. Almost comical in their awkward appearance.
Ember Tetras (34104) are back in stock after a brief hiatus. Great little nano fish that really stands out on it's own.
Finally got restocked on Panda Tetras (29174). These not only have a great name but are worthy of it with their black and white contrasting pattern. These guys can be a little nippy though despite their diminutive size.
Rainbow Shiner (4170) came in as absolute stunners. This must be breeding season overseas because these guys are lit up. Super metallic with a bright purple sheen. But be aware that they don't hold this color all year long.
Peacock Gudgeons continue to come in as imports as opposed to Florida raised. Haven't been available domestically most of the last year but the imports are coming just as nice with really good color and size.
Ornate Bichir (31174)came back in and better hurry and grab these while you can. Last batch sold out in two days. Dollar for dollar this is the most in demand of the Polypterus species.
Blue Diamond Shrimp (3785) got restocked as well as a number of other species. We try to bring in as many as we can but it never seems to be enough so be sure to order early if you want some.
In addition to the Blue Diamonds we got in the ever popular Red Crystal Shrimp (3593). Goes without saying but this by far the best selling shrimp variant out there and everyone should be carrying these.
    More Far East Gems
Freshwater Clouded Archers (4174) are back and they look great! This is a true freshwater species that does not require any salt and doesn't get quite as large as their brackish counterparts. Super cool fish that doesn't come around often enough.
Knight Gobies (4078) are back for the first time in ages. This is a brackish species that definitely benefits from the addition of salt to their environment.
Red Pearl Flowerhorns (60330) are probably one of the most affordable of the higher grade morphs. This batch came in showing great color and a bit of a hump already. Imagine whta they're gonna look like full grown.
    Community
Colombian Red and Blue Tetra (29175) are currently running absolutely huge. Not every batch gonna be like these but there's some world record size ones in there.
Glass Bloodfin Tetras(3452) are back in stock. These have a really neat translucent appearance to them. These are a great alternative to regular Bloodfins which haven't been available as of late.
Still have some large Bleeding Heart Tetras(3313) from Peru. These are huge and now that they've had a chance to settle in they're color is outstanding. Grab them while you can cuz they're not always gonna be this nice. Plus they're on special this week.
Due to Chinese New Year we're running low on some of the other far east imports and that includes quite a few livebearers including platies. However one that we still have good inventory on are the Dawns (3096). Really unique color contrast on these.
Usually when we get in Dwarf Gouramis (1115) it's males only but this week we did get in mixed sex for the first time in ages. Most people prefer the male s due to their brilliant color but there are those out there in the hunt for females so stock up while you can.
Firecracker Swords (1699) came in nice as ever. And even though these command a higher price point than most other swords we offer they're well worth the extra money. They're huge and you can see them from across the room.
Asian Rummynose (12002) are still here for some unexplained reason. I'm guessing they fell off the list for a week or two as these normally sell out almost immediately. These really color up once you put tnem over some dark colored substrate.
Large Tiger Barbs(1012) are absolute monsters this week. I know it's one of the most common fish out there but sometimes an exceptional example of a common species is just as exciting as a super rare one.
Bolivian Rams (21025) are coming in as big and as nice as I've ever seen. German Blue Rams are in short supply right now so these are an excellent alternative.
     Cichlids
Medium OB Peacocks (6342) are in from one of our local vendors. Really vibrant strains on these. Yes, they are hybrids but these are perfect for anyone just wanting some beautiful display fish and not necessarily looking for a locality specific breeding project.
Freshly juiced batch of peacocks from Bangkok came in this week. Been over this many times and yes they will fade in time but the males will regain their color as they mature. This is a good way for someone to put a splash of color in their tank without having to spend a lot of money.
Medium Chailosi Elongatus (3934) came in practically as larges. Outstanding color and markings on these. Arguably one of the best value fish here right now.
OB Bubblegum Soco (6685) are Florida bred strain based off of Pseudotropheus Socolofi. Really unique variant created by a nearby farm.
Regular Red Top Hongi (6277) came in with fantastic color especially for a small size. Lotta bang for the buck here.
White Top Afra (2287) is another great value fish here. These are a less common mbuna you won't see in box stores that have amazing crystal blue coloration with a white blaze and dark blue barring as adults.
Lg Brichardi (2293) are available for the first time in forever. These are locally raised and look to have some Daffodil to them but these aren't being marketed under any particular strain or locality point. Fantastic buy this week. These won't be here long.
Rheoheros Lentinginosus (60379) aka Freckled Cichlid. We thought we were sold out on these but found a few pieces hiding in our local room. This is your last chance to get your hands on one of these beauties.
Still have a handful of medium Uaru (29542) hanging around. They got put on the list originally as larges but that has since been corrected. Nice and settled in and looking great.
Red Warrior Flowerhorn (6688) is a Florida bred strain. But unlike most Florida Flowerhorns these will actually develop big humps. This is a great alternative for those not wanting to shell out the money for some of the higher grade variants.
    Dynamite Discus
Still have pretty good numbers on Discus including this Marlboro Red(4258). One can see where it gets it's name from and why it's one of the most popular selling Discus.
Blue Turquoise (4255) may be a little less gaudy than some of the other Discus varieties but they are still none the less highly sought after by collectors.
Snakeskin Discus(4297) are without a doubt one of if not the nicest patterned Discus out there. There's a lot of variation depending on the bloodlines. These more closely resemble Leopards than anything else.
Blue Diamonds (4256) have been super popular since they first came out. A tank of these mixed with Marlboro Reds Makes for an amazing display.
