    Hey folks,
Fantastic week for incoming, definitely the most variety we've gotten since Milton. Among the shipments was one of the largest batches of Discus that we've gotten in a long time. Demand has been so high lately that we literally got triple what we usually bring in including a couple varieties we haven't had in a while. Size and color are really good though out as you'll see from some of the pics.

A lot of great stuff from the far east this week including two types of all male swords, Green and Pineapple. These are some of the nicest swords we've gotten in a quite a while as most of the Florida raised ones have been undersized. We also got restocked on Kohaku Koi Swords. They're almost all female but really good size and color on these. Other nice imports include the smallest and dare I say cutest Uaru I think I've ever seen, came in surprisingly solid for this size. Also got restocked on Redtail Cats and Tiger Shovelnose. Size is much better on both of these compared to the last couple of batches.

Definitely no shortage on incoming cichlids this week. In fact I had to leave out a few pics I took since the email was getting too fat. One I had to leave out were the new 2" Cubans. These are slightly bigger than the last batch and already showing their dark contrasting pattern. Also got in a couple of sizes on Heckelii and both look fantastic, can't go wrong with either one. We're also pretty well stocked on most varieties of Florida raised angels. Medium EB Acaras continue to come in great as well. I think this is the first time in two months I resisted the temptation to include a pic of them lol. And we're still pretty well stocked most of the African cichlids we brought in from a new supplier and they continue to look great. Let us know if you have any questions.

Managed to get a better pic of the Sailfin Tetra this week. Now you can see where they get their name from.
You asked and we listened. People were begging us to bring in these Stargazer Cats again, so we did. A good algae eater, would benefit from high flow/oxygen.
Small Green Phantom Plecos look good. I believe we have a few mediums as well.
Got in more staples like Colombian Zebra and Snowball plecos.
4-line Pims are a little smaller than they typically come in, but usually ship much better at this size.
Melini Corys are holdover from last week, but looking nice and settled.
    New batch of "Punctatus" Corys
    Tetras
Albino Silver Tips continue to be one of the nicest tetras here on the farm. Males are almost tangerine in color while the females are bright gold.
Black Neon Tetras are coming in mostly as imports since Florida raised are in short supply. Size is still really good on them though.
I've never understood the appeal but Blind Cave Tetras are one of those oddities that always sell really well. They can however be a bit nippy.
Albeit a common species, Buenos Aires Tetras are a staple in the hobby for a reason. They're inexpensive, hardy and relatively attractive. This is one you should always have in stock.
Blushing Longfin White Skirt Tetras have a very unique transparent appearance. That coupled with an almost purple hue and an orange cap make them a highly desirable species.
Only have a handful of Emperor Tetras left. These do have some blacks in the mix and they're much bigger than usual.
Red Eye Tetras are back in stock. These are mostly imports but the size is surprisingly good on these. Nice bright eyes as well.
    Cichlids
Thought angels were going to be in short supply but so far we've managed to keep pretty good numbers except for large. Medium Blacks are one of the nicest types this week.
Discus selection is the nicest it's been in months. Good mix of colors and pretty good size on most varieties. This blue diamond is very representative of what's in stock.

Chili Oscars came in late last week and look fantastic as always. They're not cheap but they always sell out very quickly. Not sure if they're juiced or not but I've never seen them lose their color over time. They continue to get richer in color as they mature.
Far east Uaru came in last night and they look great. They're about the size of a quarter and absolutely adorable. These are sure to sell out in a hurry.
Got in a fresh batch of Electric Blue Dempseys and these continue to come in with great color. Size is really nice on them as well since they can often come in as small as a dime.
You can tell when it's a slow time of year when we still have a handful of Dovii hanging around. Last batch sold out in less than a week. These are a solid 2"+. They're usually quite a bit smaller when they first come in and these are showing really nice patterns so grab them before they're gone.
Clown Labs have been here a few weeks now and are really starting to color up. This is one of the more underrated Mbuna types which I'll never understand. They develop a nice powder blue coloration over the body with dark blue bands. Plus they're relatively peaceful and mix well smaller haps and peacocks.
Had some Exasperatus sneak in over the weekend. This used to be a common staple in African Cichlid sections in stores and over last several years they seem to have nearly disappeared. Females get really neat red dotted striping along the sides and the males develop a deep powder blue coloration. A few males are already starting to show adult color.
Medium Hap Moorii are running way over size, more like medium large. These are one of the best value cichlids here this week.

    Livebearers
I don't usually feature much in the way of mollies here since they really tend to be more of a big box store type fish but the Creamsicle Lyretails really caught my eye. They're in a bottom tank which I tend to overlook but these are really bright and standout over the other varieties. I don't say this often about mollies but definitely grab some these, they're not always this nice.
Now I know I just said that I don't mention mollies here very often but the large Green Sailfins are also very nice this week. Pic doesn't do it justice but color is very good and the males have huge dorsal fins.
Platies are another big box staple but every store should carry them regardless. There are a ton of different varieties out there but Dawn Platies have always stood out to me with their nice blend of powder blue and red coloration
XL Platies are some the biggest I've seen come through here. Through a dime in there for size reference. Nice mix colors in there as well.
Kohaku Koi Swords are back in stock and while they're 99% female size is great on these. Some of the biggest I've seen in while and color is super bright. With Christmas right around the corner might wanna call them Candy Cane Swords instead.
All male Pineapple Swords are some of the nicest I've ever seen. Size on most of them is huge with super bright color.
    Odds n' Ends
Instead of Balloon Kissing Gourami I'm gonna start calling these Severed Head Gouramis cuz that's exactly what they look like. With the body being so short and the tail looking completely transparent the tank looks like a bunch of floating heads. But I've said it before, balloon anything sells really well.
Still have a fair number of Exodons in stock. While they're not a great community fish these guys really do make a great species only display.

6"-7" Fire Eels came in a bit oversized with really nice color. Nothing more you really need to say about them as they always sell themselves.
Leopard Ctenopoma are back in stock and although they're tiny they tend to sell better at this size. They always remind me of Panther Groupers when they're small.
Got in another batch of Orange Chromides. They're a little faded but they color up quickly. This one of the few cichlid species from Asia that are commonly available and this is an aquarium strain that tends to be more colorful than it's wild counterpart.
Far east raised Tiger Shovelnose are back in stock and this is the nicest batch I've seen in a while. Size is much better than usual and they're holding up great.
New batch of Tiger Botias came in looking great. They look a little faded in the pic since they had only been here for a bout an hour they came in really solid with virtually no dead on them.
