    4" Salvini
    Hey folks,
well thank goodness for nicer weather this week as it allowed us to bring in more great stuff. I know the Midwest is getting hit with another cold front including ice and snow but hopefully it won't be so bad as to impact shipping. As for incoming this week like I said there's some great stuff out there. Got shipments in from Thailand, Singapore, Indo, Colombia and some really nice Florida raised fish.

We'll start with Colombia. Availability has been a little on the lean side lately but we were able to get aome restocks on some staples including Snowball, Clown and Plecos, both Striped And Spotted Raphael Cats, Bumble Bee Cats, Farlowellas and of course the ever popular Green Neons. But what I'm most escited for have to be the Habrosus Cories. Haven't had these in forever. It's a close relative of the pygmy cory but a little different in appearance as you'll see from the pic below. Also got in some Gold/Green Cories which have also been absent for quite some time. But what I think most of you will be most excited for are the small Peacock bass. Haven't had these at this size in over a year. Good news is looks like we got enough to go around but I wouldn't hesitate as these always sell out very quickly.

Lots of new stuff from the far east including my absolute favorite dwarf Gourami type, Samurais. These are a Chocolate relative but with a much nicer pattern and color palate. This particular batch came in looking great and hopefully that continues to be the case. But the most exciting additions this week have to be the Black Widow and the Red Frontosas. These are both captive strains and are super popular amongst hobbyists. They carry a little heavier price tag but are well worth it. On the opposite end of the spectrum we got restocked on Balloon Kissing Gouramis. Say what you want about balloon type fish but if you carry Oranda or Ryukin or any fantail type goldfish then there's no reason not to carry these. They always sell well even if they are an abomination. But something I think everyone will appreciate are the two new(ish) type of Bettas that came in late last week, Nemo Plakat and Gold Platinum Halfmoon. Both are sure to be huge sellers without a huge price tag.

And Last but definitely not least are the Florida raised cichlids we got in this week. Too much to list here but plenty of pics down below. We got in some more insanely rare Central Americans from a nearby source that has been providing us with gems like this for years. The last batch we got from him got picked clean in just a few days. I'm sure this batch will be no exception. We also got in some really unique looking hybrid African Cichlids. People can say what they want about crosses but at the end of the day if you like selling colorful fish and making money in the process then look no further. These guys always sell out on a hurry.

Reach out to your rep if you have any questions.

New Red Pikes are even nicer than the last batch and that's saying something since the last ones were fantastic.
Got a restock on Red Phantom Tetras. They're small and little pale like usual but these always sell well on name alone. These will color up pretty quick once they've settled in.
New Green phantom Plecos are great size. Fins are a little rough since they just came in but these will clean up very quickly.
Fresh batch of Pike cichlids look to be mostly belly crawler but these are always a fan favorite.
Got in more regular Farlowellas this week. Size is nice and they're looking great so far.
Restocked on Clown Plecos once again. Got in a pretty good amount so hopefully there will be enough to go around.
Wild Blue Rams came in and even though they're a little stressed they'll look great once they've settled in. These tend to hold up really well show really nice color in no time.
Got in more Habrosus Cories since the last batch sold out in two days which is why I'm featuring them again. Hopefully everyone will get a shot at this group.
    Asia Imports
Rhino Gobies are back in stock. These can be kept in freshwater but definitely benefit from a little bit of salt to keep them looking they're best.
This week's Blood Parrots are back up to size. This varies from week to week so if you have a size preference check with you rep before ordering as we always always order the same ones but won't know the actual size till they get here.
Fresh batch of Strawberry Peacocks came in this week. Super bright as always but anyone that reads this email regularly knows that this temporary as they will fade after the methytestoterone wears off but males will regain their color once they mature.
Blue Rim Bettas are back! We got these a couple months ago and just this week were able to get restocked on them. This is a really neat variety that is even more stunning in person.
Still have a handful of Clouded Archers hanging around. This is a true freshwater species that does not require any salt and stays smaller than some of it's relatives.
New batch of Blue Kerri Tetras are super bright. Size is a little smaller than the last batch but the color is great.
Blind Cave Tetras are back. Aptly named since this species has adapted to a life with zero sunlight as they inhabit under water caves throughout Mexico. Very interesting but can be a bit nippy.
    Livebearers
Got restocked on Guppies again this week including these male Pigeon Bloods. I've mentioned this before but I really do recommend allowing for subs on Guppies as you will get a much better fill rate that way.
Red Tux are another nice variety that stand out this week.
Assorted Male Endler's offer's the best color mix and the most bang for the buck.
Mixed swords like most varieties are running a little small this week but the color is good with a nice blend of different types.
I know I mention these about every other week but there's a reason why. Firecracker swords are one of the most impressive livebearers in existence. These are absolute show stoppers.
I usually try to avoid featuring super common staples if I can help it but the Creamsicle Mollies running particularly nice this week. Nice size with a highly metallic appearance.
Same goes here as for the above. Gold Dust Lyretail Mollies are one of the most commonly available livebearers out there but this week's batch is nicer than usual. Very bright with a sharp contrast.
Golden Sunset Variatus came in with some solid orange individuals mixed in. Not sure if this was intentional but makes for a very nice blend.
    Community
Medium Bosemani Rainbow are definitely a much better option as opposed to the regulars. Some week's it's a toss up but the regulars are currently running much smaller with far less color.
Medium Yellow Rainbows are back in stock. Have mostly had the regulars available the last few months but these are back and definitely worth the extra money.
Regular Rosy Barbs are in stock this week. Not sure for how long these have been surprisingly been in short supply for the last couple months. Size and color is about as good as it gets.
Red Panda Barbs also made a triumphant return this week. These grow up to be one of the most impressive species of Barb and they're not terribly nippy like some other species.
Longfin Zebra Danios are good option this week as the standards remain unavailable.
Dwarf Gouramis are another common staple but we included them this week because we happened to get a really good pic of them in tank which doesn't happen often.
Like most tetras this time of year size varies from week to week but the Diamonds are running particularly big right now (as are the Black Phantoms) so this is a good time to stock up before they shrink again.
Gold Pristellas are back on the list this week. Nice color and pretty good size.
Medium Silver Dollars look great this week and are on special.
Select Koi Angels continue to be one of the most consistent in terms of size, color and availability.
    Cichlids
Medium Green Terrors are back and they look great. Really good color at this size and this definitely one to pick up as their availability has been sketchy at best.
Already featured the 4" Salvini at the top of the email but also have mediums available from the same supplier. Really good bloodlines on these as the color and conformation are what they should be.
Got in some Flowerhorns from a new supplier this week. Little bit different in terms of color and pattern but still very nice. Always good to add something new to the mix.
Not sure how many of these we can fill this week but Albino Red Peacocks were just made available to us by one of our local vendors. If they continue to come in looking like this it will be something we carry regularly.
Medium Assorted Peacocks (6378) continue to come in with a great mix of varieties including this Maulana type.
Ngara Flametail Peacocks are in at a regular size for the first time quite a while. These are really nice size and very close to coloring up.
Got in more large assorted Haps since the last two batches flew out of here. Again, a lot of interesting varieties in there including this Victorian hybrid.
Found this big Venustus also in the large assorted Hap mix.
Regular size OB Redfin Borleyi are back in stock. These grow up to be amazing looking as adults but they're also much more expensive at that size. This is a great way to get a great looking fish at a fraction of the cost.
Not trying to be redundant but the regular size Venustus are running over size and definitely worth mentioning.
Regular Socolofi are some of the nicest I've seen come through here. Great powder blue coloration to them.
    just because
Butterfly Plecos have been here a couple of weeks now are are really showing off their great mottled pattern. These don't grow nearly as large as some other species and work well in smaller tanks.
Still have a handful of large Adonis Plecos. These are in great shape with really nice fin extensions.
Think these guys just get overlooked on the list because a lot of people may not be familiar with this species but the Redfin Speckled Pleco has a really unique appearance to it and also does a pretty good job with algae control.
New batch of Blue Phantom Plecos came great with very clean fins which is fairly uncommon.
Got a handful of 8"-10" Florida Gar in this week. Fairly limited so order early if you some of these.
Balloon Jewel Cichlids are back. Say what you want about balloon fish but that compressed body really adds something to it's appearance.
Brody thinks I hav a weird obsee
