    Hey folks,
well it was another challenging week of weather when it came to shipping. Whether it was snow storms or extreme cold (single digits in parts of Texas) hoping that this upcoming week will allow for more of you to place orders as we had a fantastic week of incoming (it's in the 70s here). Got shipments from Indo, Bangkok, Thailand, Singapore and of course lots of nice Florida raised fish. There's almost too much to feature but we did our best down below so I'll keep this week's intro brief.

The most exciting shipment to come in this week that I didn't mention above was from Colombia. Of course we got restocks on the bread and butter stuff but I'm not even going to go into that as we got in some absolute gems this time around. First and foremost are the Altum Angels. This is the True Atlum species not the Scalare type coming out of Peru. We have a pic down below so anyone that knows this fish can see that this is the real deal. VERY limited numbers on these so order early. These are known for being touch so I definitely recommend upping the temperature and softening the water. They hold up better this way.

Another exciting addition to the Colombia shipment were the Asellus aka Amazon Puffers. These came in bigger than the last couple of batches and are looking great so far. Also in the mix are one my and Brody's personal favorites, true Parrot Cichlids! This is not the far east abomination everyone is familiar fish. It's not even remotely related. This is the first fish to earn that name. I would go on and on about it but I know Brody will do that down below. In addition to those show stoppers we also got in Spotted Hoplo Cats. This isn't the same species as the solid brown one found all over down here in Florida but they are related. These grow up to be basically a giant Cory. Works well with smaller species and is an excellent scavenger.

Reach out to your rep if you have any questions.

Altum Angels are back and so far they look fantastic! We'll see how they hold up over the next couple days but so far they look great and are the perfect size.
New batch of Asellus aka Amazon puffers came in much bigger than the last batch. For those of you who aren't familiar with these they are a true freshwater species and do not require any salt. Highly sought after but not often available so these will go fast.
More Gulper Cats in and good numbers, but they always go quick. While I don't think I've ever seen these cannibalize each other, they will surely fit anything else that fits in their mouth and with great vigor.
Wild Hoplo cats! A Megalechis species, the imported albinos we get in from indo are from a smiliar fish. I'm a huge fan of these as they are peacful, hardy, and a great bottom cleaner for tanks. They don't get quite as big as the "trash" brown hoplos we sometimes pull from ponds.
Orange Seam Pleco (L-106?) from Colombia. These get vibrant orange-tipped fins once settled in. An omnivorous species, its a fancy pleco for an un-fancy price.
True Parrot (Hoplarchus psittacus). These came in a bit smaller than usual, but they get large an impressive. Will hold up fine in hard water, but really need soft acidic water long term to prevent pitting. My personal favorite (Brody).
Wild Brochis. Not sure what the latin name is anymore, but these came in good size and still have growing to do. Would be fun to put these in a tank with the hoplos.
Silver Arowana, not sure we have a price/size on these yet. They are well past the yolk sac stage, but should throw plenty of food at them.
    Asia Imports
New batch of Knight Gobies came in bigger and seem to be holding up so far. These are brackish and require some salt as well as frozen foods to help keep them going.
This might be the last batch of Peacock Gudgeons as imports as our local source for them says they should have them in stock again. That not withstanding these are the largest to have come through here in quite some time. These always sell out in a hurry.
Glass Bloodfin Tetras are back in from Indo. These are mostly transparent with a greenish hue and bright red tails. Great sub for regular Bloodfins which continue to be unavailable.
Restocked on Panda Tetras. Great contrast on such a little fish. Really stand out and have a great name that really helps them sell fast.
Green Fire Tetras are back in stock. This is another great Bloodfin Tetra sub. Similar in appearance with a bright green body when the mature.
New batch of Snakeskin Barbs came in nice size with great color. These stay on the smaller side and are relatively peaceful. A school of these makes for an impressive display.
New batch of Samurai Gouramis are slightly bigger than the last group and look just as nice. Technically these should be kept in soft, acidic water but they seem do hold up just fine in our water down here which could be best described as liquid concrete.
Blue Tiger Parrots came in at a pretty decent size. Regardless of your feelings about hybrids or balloon style fish these guys always sell out. Just cuz you don't like them doesn't mean you shouldn't carry them lol.
    Livebearers
Butterfly Moon Platies are a newer variant that we've been carrying for the last couple of months and the sales on these have surprisingly high. They are a little bit pricier than some of the other types but numbers don't lie and the turnover on these has been excellent.
Red Tiger Platies are back in stock after a brief absence. Really don't need to hype them up as their name and appearance speak for themselves.
Albeit this is one of the most basic fish out there, had to feature the Red Wag Platies this week as they came in super nice this week both in terms of size and color.
Regular Green Swords are running really big right now with some of the biggest females I've ever seen.
Pineapple Wag Swords are running super nice right now. Good size and great color. Arguably the best sword in stock right now.
Red Tux Swords are coming in really dark and I mean that in a good way. Deep, velvety and rich red with heavy amounts of black to them.
XL Swords are running big as usual. This is a good option if your looking to carry only one type Sword. Good mix of variety in there.

I've said this before but Parkinsoni  are one the most overlooked Rainbows out there. I think it's the name that causes people to look past them. That's why we do these emails with pics so people can see what they're missing out on.
Not much to say other than if you're not carrying Turquoise Rainbows regularly you're regularly missing out on sales. I would also recommend carrying the mediums when they're available. That little bit of extra size really help with the color.
Emerald Rainbows have some interesting individuals in the mix showing an unusual amount of red on the bellies.
Anybody that reads this email regularly knows my feeling about balloon fish and the Balloon Penguin Tetras are no exception. When they're available everyone should be carrying them. Plus they're the only Penguin variety out there for the time being.
Albino Glow Light Tetras are in stock this week but not sure how long that will as they have been in short supply lately so stock up while you can.
Flag Fish are showing tremendous color right now with some absolute monsters in the mix like this guy pictured above.
Male Congo Tetras are a little mixy in size this week some running on the smaller side but then on the opposite end of the spectrum there are ones in full color with really nice fin extensions. Good value across the board.
    Cichlids
Bulgarian Sealpoint Angel. These are a nice strain, but let it be known they came in much, much, MUCH smaller than usual.
This is what the Bulgarian Sealpoints will look with some growth. This is NOT the size fish we have in stock right now. Those are in the previous slide.
Assorted Male Peacocks might be one of the best value fish here this week. Lotta nice fish in there including a number Red Shoulder types like this guy.
Large assorted Haps have a great mix in there without a ton of overlap. This is a great way to fill up tank space for not a lot of money with some oversized individuals like this male Venustus.
Like I said above a lot of nice individuals in the mix of the large assorted Haps like this Ahli hybrid.
Found this beautiful Hap Moorii among the assorted large Haps.
Regular Taiwan Reefs are running way over size to the point where males are already starting to show color. Fantastic value here.
Regular Redfin Borleyi are back in stock. This one of the easiest juvenile haps to sell as they have great color even at a young age and both the males and females have an attractive appearance as adults.
Electric Blue Johanni are running a bit oversize this week great color.
    Cribroheros Rostratus
4" Red Devils are still available but probably not for long. Size and color are great on these and it's by far one of the most popular Central American Cichlids out there.
Regular EB Acara are running about twice the size they normally are. Value pick of the week here.
    just because
Large Albino Bushynose are back up to size this week as they were running a little small for a bit.
Lima Shovelnose are looking great but down to only a handful of pieces.
Polypterus Delhezi back in from Indo. One of the best selling Bichirs out there.
5"-6" Fire Eels came in on point in size and the red on these is particularly bright.
